bringing long-term economic benefits to themselves and their families.
- Keep valuables, especially passports, locked up in hotel
safety-deposit boxes.
- Enter next of kin details into the back of your passport.
- Bring medical supplies to help in the event of stomach upset; mosquito
repellent and seek a doctor’s advice about vaccinations to have prior to
travel, including polio and TB.
- Be wary of taking any excursions that are not endorsed by the tour
operator.
- Do not carry drugs; local anti-drugs forces are efficient and those
caught with illegal drugs receive long prison sentences .
